I am IN LOVE with our newest Old Orchard listing. The original owners have meticulously maintained their 48 year old home… It is like a time capsule.

And it absolutely will not last.

More Lighthouses For Sale – if you’re so inclined!

I, as a member of the Disney Movie Club, was very excited to sneak a peak into Walt Disney’s former home. It’s surprisingly quaint & modest, considering the $$$ this guy had, but somehow it’s exactly what I would expect. Very charming, very cozy, very pretty!

Got $3.6 million to spare?

As per usual, I have complaints about the photos but at least this was done almost correctly.

Can I just take a moment to brag?

The Keri Ricci Team takes the best photos. As you know from previous posts, I am in a constant state of shock when scrolling through MLS for my buyers. I just can’t believe the crap that’s out there.

I am our team photographer. And I’m not afraid to say that I’m good at this. My mom taught me well. She was written up just last year for her incredible work, read the full article here.

I’m starting to unravel the mystery of “Why do buyers call their agent continuously for updates even when there isn’t one?” My mom, who’s handling the negotiations, probably would not appreciate hourly calls.

So, if you haven’t already heard, the Home Alone house is for sale.

I have admired this home since the first time I saw the movie (one of my all-time top 5 films, for sure.) Long before my days as an agent, I knew that this classic Brick Center-Hall Georgian was exactly the way I wanted to live.

Now, all of my readers know how irked I get at bad or lazy real estate photography. This, my friends is a new low. Especially considering that the media & bloggers are all over the sale of this home.

YOU MUST BE JOKING. A grainy screen-grab from a copyrighted movie, next to a flip-phone camera picture?

KEVIN! Get out of the shot! You'd think that a $2.4 million listing (3% = $72,000 in commission), the agent could have bought a camera from this millennium???

I wouldn't have thought this gorgeous staircase COULD have photographed badly even if someone TRIED. I was wrong, leave it to a Realtor. Cool sled though.

For the love of Christmas, I hope these homeowners call The Keri Ricci Team for a decent referral.
